Hello party people!!

We are getting closer and closer to the spring break week, which will be the week where we will film and edit our opening scene. We are really excited!!

Since last week we couldn't finish the script, we are setting a definite goal this week, finish up the script... WE WILL FINISH IT... WE CAN DO IT.

Honestly we are in good shape regarding the script but we are still missing the last part where the script will show a little more of the dark side of the main character (which if I'm being honest, we are struggling a little with it), we really want it to be perfect, that is why we are taking so long on doing it.

Regardless, we already know the location and time our opening scene will be film, so the first part where we will be showing the girl dragging the bag with the body to bury it at nighttime, will be filmed at Markham Park. We decided to shoot there because it's the only place that is forest like looking and of course is close by our houses. Also the day we went to tell our teacher our idea for the project, she gave us a great idea, which honestly we didn't even think about before. So she told us that since we were going to film this part at night, we should use the headlights of the car as a resource for our lighting, and incorporate it on our scene as if the main character was using them to see where she is going to bury the body, to have a good reason for not having good quality lighting.

The second part of our opening film, will be shot in my partner's room, since she has a more girly room than I do lol. We plan on decorating it super cute and our idea is to film it during day time, where the light of the sun hits her room. We decided to do it like this because we want to show some contrast between these two scenes , to reflect the contrast of the two different sides the main character has, one that is the dark one which is reflected on the scene at the forest, and the other one is the nice and normal side which is reflected at her room.
