Hey guys I'm back with some news

So today in class, my partner and I finally started making the storyboard for our opening scene. We decided to draw it out in flashcards, and putting the exact and specific indications on the back of them because it's easier for us to move and change things around within the storyboard.

There are some ideas in our film that we aren't sure yet, but we are getting there. We hope to have the storyboard and script for the voice over (which we are having trouble with) finalized by the end of this week, since we want to start filming and editing this up coming week.

Here I'm going to show you some parts of our storyboard, these shots were you can see the girls in her bathroom, getting ready to go out are not the first shots that will appear in our opening film, they are more likely to appear at the end, because that is were the audience will be able to see the type of person she is and start questioning "why did she do it?" "she seems like any other teenager". On the other hand we are still thinking how to show the girl dragging the bag in order to bury it, without making it too long and boring, but more engaging for the audience, I believe that with a combination of close ups and cuts away these scene could be a lot more engaging, but we are still working on it. Regardless, we still sticking to the plan of showing her during this process at the beginning of the film since we believe it will create a great first impression on the audience, making them feel the tension we want to portrait.

STORYBOARD IN PROCESS..

Anyway guys, I will be updating more stuff about our storyboard and script very soon!

Wish us luck!!
